Cardmaking

If you have followed me for a long time you have seen me share cardmaking/papercraft projects on this blog. This is one of those hobbies I like to do because I can get messy and sometimes you just have to get your hands dirty. LOL I love making cards. They're a different creative outlet for me that doesn't really require much thought.

For the card above I sponged the background and spritzed water to create a distressed look. The image was colored in using Copic markers. The card below was done with distressed inks and an embossing folder for texture. The image was colored in using Copic markers.

This Butterfly Betsy was a fun one to color with. After coloring and distressing the background. I took black ink and splattered allover. The white gel pen was used to add highlights to the image.
These cards get stored away until someone in my family needs to use them otherwise they pretty much just sit. I had thought about selling them since they're accumulating faster then my family can use them, but haven't done so.
