Roundabout Tote Pattern and Giveaway

Happy Tuesday! It sure is a happy Tuesday around here. I am literally doing the happy dance. I had this tote pattern on the back burner for a very long time, longer than I want to admit. I had some changes that I've been wanting to make and working on all of the diagrams on my own was very time consuming, but I am SEW happy it's finally complete.

Introducing the new and improved Roundabout Tote! This tote packs a punch. The Roundabout Tote is quick to put together. The step-by-step diagrams walk you through the whole sewing process making it easy for all skill levels.

I decided to break into my Wistful Winds fat quarter bundle by Doohikey Designs for Riley Blake. I  had a hard time deciding on the colors to use, but in the end I settled on the blue and yellow combination. The prints are bright and cheery, making it so much fun to sew.

One of the changes I made was to lengthen the shoulder straps and also changing the width so it's more comfortable to wear.

I like to have lots of pockets when I am making bags so that I can organize all of my belongings. I tend to load up my bags with more things than weekdays and these bigger bags are a must for me.

Thank you for visiting! This pattern is now available in my Craftsy shop.
Just wanted to share with you how I came up with the name to this tote pattern. There's a roundabout that I have to pass through almost daily to pick up my son. One day while thinking about what I would like to rename this pattern to, it dawned on me that I should name it Roundabout.

Roundabout is the perfect name for this tote! The size and strap length is just right for me, too. With the additional pockets on the inside, I'd make one for every season to take with me everywhere!
