Purple Quilt WIP

I am plugging away at my one monthly goal to finish by the end of this month. This OMG has really helped me to get my UFOs under control. I didn't realize that the Aurifil BOM that I completed was three years ago. Time sure flies.

Since this is a scrappy purple quilt I needed to add sashing to separate the blocks. I then pulled out my Fossil Fern prints that I've been hoarding to use as a second border so this could be a nice large quilt.

Here it is, almost got the second border sewn on. BTW, if you're in need of a new and large ironing board go to Costco. I had to replace mine and didn't want to spend $100 at Joann's so I was holding off. A couple of days ago I was at Costco not looking for an ironing board and happened to walk by it. The board is really nice and padded with an 18" wide surface for only $38. You betcha I grabbed it really quick. People kept stopping me to ask where I found it as I was making my way to checkout.

I'm loving those purples! The ironing board was a great find.
