I've been thinking a lot about the direction my blog needed to go. This blog was once a stamping and sewing/quilting blog where I share pretty much all the fun things I make all in one place and I named it Kim Sherrod Studio after moi. After some time I separated it into a quilting blog and moved my stamping to another blog. Over time life became busier than usual especially the last couple of years. Hubby and I decided to go back to school. Trying to juggle school and family in addition to me trying to get my business going it's been quite challenging to jump from here to there and keeping my blogs updated so with that, I felt the best way to continue to blog and share what I make is to keep my blog posts all in one place.
Anywho, here's my card for today. I love the emboss resist technique. It's a fun way to make quick cards and watercolor them. I have a video to go along with this card here. I've also included the video in this post.
supplies used:
Stamps: Winnie and Walter (Sparkle), Papers (watercolor, bristol white), Inks (Kuretake #32/34), Accessories (CTMH - sequins) (A Muse Studio (white embossing powder)
On another note, my girls and I will be creating prints and notecards to sell on Etsy. These will include cards I make and hand-drawn images with watercoloring. The shop is not ready yet but here's a sampling of what we're going to offer.
