AGF and An Outing

Happy Monday! It's been a while since I've posted. I have been pre-occupied with a lot of things. One of the things I am needing to work on has to do with these beautiful fabrics. I had a design in mind but now I think I might need to change it up a bit to highlight certain fabrics. I can't wait to get it done.

I also was well enough to go hiking. Cowles Mountain is supposed to be the tallest point in San Diego so I was determined to make it up to the top. I took a few short breaks but I finally made it. The view is absolutely amazing. It felt great to be able to accomplish this goal of mine.

Hubby and I took our DD to the contemporary art museum for a school assignment. While we waited for her we had a dessert date at the museum restaurant. This carrot cake was really delicious and moist. It was a wonderful treat.

After the museum we went to the beach to feed some squirrels but I think the city did something with them. The holes were all covered up and the city roped off the bushes where the squirrels used to be. We decided to go explore some parts of the beach instead. I love taking photos of the beach whenever we go. It's such a peaceful place to be. The waves were pretty strong the day we visited. I was able to take quite a few photos. I love photography, but don't have the time to take classes so every chance I get to go out I take lots of photos just for fun.

Those fabrics look interesting, can't wait to see what you do with them.

Carrot cake is one of our favorite treats, too.

Congratulations on your hiking accomplishment.
