This is my second year joining Cheryll for the Santa Sack Swap. The participants were to make each other 6 gifts. One of those gifts had to be a sack, bag or stocking. My partner and I decided to do something different and make each other a sewing machine cover.
She likes floral fabrics and I have plenty of those in my stash. She gave me the measurements to her Singer Featherweight and I sketched up the layout for her sewing machine cover. I made the pockets tall to accommodate scissors or other tall sewing supplies. The quilting was a simple straighline quilting. I did the binding by machine.
Before I shipped it off, I pulled out my vintage Singer and made sure it fit. I was so wishing it would fit on the sewing machine I use often because I really was having a hard time letting it go. I hope she my partner enjoys this cover.

That is such a pretty sewing machine cover. I'm sure your partner is going to love it.
