Think Ruffles Everyday Clutch

Hi There! Today is my day to share my ruffled project with you. I love ruffles. They are so much fun to make and use. It just adds a fun flair to any project. I'd like to thank Madame Samm and Amy for hosting this awesome hop. This wouldn't be possible without them.
At first I was going to make a sewing machine cover but I changed my mind. I wanted something I could use on a regular basis so I designed and made this clutch. It is very roomy for everyday use.

I pulled this fabric collection that I bought a few years ago to make my clutch. I love the combination of pink, yellow and green. I did a bit of sketching and measuring to get the size that I would like. I heavily quilted the exterior with straight line stitching using Aurifil thread.

These are some things that fit quite nicely in my new clutch. I always carry these essentials with me because you never know when hunger strikes or my kids asking for food when they get picked up after school.

As you can see, I still have plenty of room for keys and other knick knacks. I love the pockets. It keeps my phone away from things that could scratch it.

This giveaway is closed. Winner has been contacted. Thank you all for your participation.

For this hop, I am giving away this downloadable PDF pattern. Leave a comment and you're automatically entered to win. For an extra entry, I would love to have you follow me. The giveaway closes on March 14th. You can also buy the pattern here. It is a quick and easy step-by-step tutorial perfect for yourself or gift giving.
As I sat down to finish my post, Duchess got right on top of the clutch and laid on it.

Must be really comfy, silly cat ;-D

These talented ladies are on the blog hop today. Make sure you visit to see their lovely ruffled projects and cheer them on.
