Strip Savvy Quilt Along

Recently I won a book from the Fat Quarter Shop called Strip Savvy by Kate Henderson. When I received this book I couldn't believe the beautiful quilts that are in it. The patterns are amazing and the photography is gorgeous. I can see so many possibilities to use up my scraps even though this is a 2 1/2" strip book.
As I looked through this book, I thought of how nice it would be to have you all join me in a quilt along using patterns from this book. If you don't have this book, I highly recommend you buy it. The Fat Quarter Shop has them on sale right now.

Pertaining to the Quilt Along, if there's enough interest I would love to host. A little birdy told me there will prizes in it for those who participate if I do decide to go ahead with the QAL. The book is divided into quilts with borders and quilts without borders. I love the quilts with borders so I would love to focus on those. These are not your normal traditional borders so trust me, you'll love it!

Hi Kim! I was thinking about getting this book! The scrappy theme is my favorite! I think a quiltt along will be fun!

It looks like an interesting book Kim - while I can't commit to being part of the QAL with you, I do really hope that you get enough interest to make it happen...
I might just go for a peek at the book! x

So glad you like it! Let me know if you do a quilt a long, I've got a few patterns I'd love to try in different fabrics and colours.

Depending on your final decision of pattern, I'd like to join in the fun

Hi I am interested, have made quilts but don't know what a Quiltalong is or how it works. Does it matter that I am in NZ?
