Sweet Dreams Quilt Top

Happy Friday! I hope you have a fun weekend planned. We are just taking it easy and I am going to squeeze in some fun sewing. I was so excited to get these blocks put together that I actually finished it right after I posted my AYOLF goal. I started by laying out the blocks and was working on sashing fabrics. It was a choice between red, blue or white. As you can see, I chose white and love how it turned out.

I started working on the measurements then it was time to sew away. After I finished the quilt top, I started pulling out a variety of red fabrics to piece together for the backing. I haven't decided how I am going to quilt this top yet. I will probably freehand a quick and easy design.
As I was putting this quilt top together I also thought of a name for it, Sweet Dreams. I also thought of putting a tutorial together. I've got the measurements done, but the time to do it might take a while. I've got some sewing obligations to finish first.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Sweet indeed! Looking forward to a tutorial and I think white was the perfect choice for sashing.
