One Patch Quilt

This year has gone by so very quickly. I had been getting some UFOs finished then had to take a break for a bit. The other day, I was able to get one more done. This pink one patch quilt was made so I can practice my machine quilting but I just decided to meander it so the quilt can be completed. It's one of those things that after a while, needs to be done.

This is a nice lap size and in my haste to finish, I also did the binding by machine. As I was taking a photo of the quilt, Duchess snuck up and got underneath it. She made her way up the chair and as I am typing this post, she's still snuggled underneath the quilt.

Here's her tail hanging out. She is such a silly kitty.

I don't know if I will have time to post again before Christmas, but just in case, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas. May you be filled joy and happiness this season brings.

I love one patch quilts when I just want to sew and not worry about complicated patterns in a quilt. The colors are beautiful! Merry Christmas to you!

LOL It looks like your kitty was looking for a place to snuggle up. :-) Very nice finish and with all the cold weather, it should get lots of snugglin'. Merry Christmas to you too!
