Great Granny Quilt Finish

Hello There! I am feeling a bit of the Fall chill the last couple of days. It's a wonderful change from the heat wave we had recently. This is the end of the month and my goal for ALYOF was to complete and bind this great-granny quilt.

I couldn't decide on the machine quilting design so in the end I went for a loop-de-loop floral pattern.
I just kind of winged it. I don't like taking pictures indoors but it was getting a bit dark outside and I wanted to get this photographed and uploaded to the blog.

My silly cat, Duchess jumped on the quilt as soon as I laid it on the floor. I asked my kids to keep her off of it long enough for me to take the picture above. As usual, she sits on it then she plops down. She was laying on the quilt for a little bit then got off it.

I am so happy to have completed two UFOs this month. I figured if I could complete 3-4 per month I should be all caught up by the end of the year. Thank goodness there's not a huge pile of UFOs or I wouldn't be able to get some other sewing projects done.

Fabric Info: Block fabrics from Michael Miller. Binding is Moda. White solids and pink backing is Kona Cotton.
