Christmas Through the Year Link Up Party

It seems like time keeps going by faster and faster these days. It's already time to link up your CTTY projects. Can't wait to see what you all did.
So today, our little guy had to go to the swap meet for his Scout troops annual rummage sale. They had a ton of stuff to sell. We got up and ventured to the swap meet to look around plus we didn't have to pay to get in in honor of military appreciation month. I did get some fun stuff at a really great price. I'll share that another day. Today is all about CTTY.

I have been doing alot of sewing but not much I can show you yet. I plan to share more tutorials with my readers because I guess you REALLY like them from the hits that showed up on my stats with the binding tutorial. On to my projects for this month. I made these pouches for my Christmas Box.

I made some of these charm pouches using the leftover fabrics from my Moda Bake Shop project. The only thing I did different is skipped the wrist strap. One of these I am selling and this one I am keeping for Christmas. You can find the tutorial for my Strippy Charm Pouch here.

This one is a larger zip pouch. I used scraps of fabrics leftover from another project for the flower and added a button in the center. I love the flower because it's a great way to use up scraps.

I do have a giveaway for you this month. The folks at Monaluna has generously donated a fat quarter bundle from the Havana collection to one lucky winner.

These are organic fabrics and let me tell you, it feels SO nice. It pains me to have to give it up, but maybe someday I'll get some ; -D

This giveaway is now closed

The winner is: #3 Cindy C.
Congrats Cindy! I will e-mail you shortly.

Let's see all the lovely things you've made. Please link back to Lily Patch Quilts in your post or grab the CTTY button on my sidebar and help spread the word. You have until 11:59 pm Jun 01 to link up. Please make sure to link directly to your post. If you don't have a blog, e-mail me your entry and I will post it here.

Well, I didn't plan on this for the CTTY, but hey, if "it" works......

Today I ironed the fabrics from a kit to create a "Deckade-the-Halls" Christmas quilt. It'll be an ongoing project for a few months.

Happy Memorial Day.
