Congrats Sandie! I'll get in touch in a little bit for your mailing info.
I've been doing some practicing on my embroidery machine to get ready for next month's Christmas projects. Here's a peak. I used to do redwork by hand and it took a long time but I loved it because it's therapeutic. I have some redwork designs for my machine so I was practicing to see how it would come out and making sure my thread won't break. This is one of the flowers in the embroidery pack.
I practiced some names. I used an orange colored embroidery thread that was sitting in my drawer for over a year and it kept breaking and messing up so I went with the red I bought recently and it came out fine. My friend's daughter was staying with us for a couple of days so I practiced using her name and gave it to her when I was finished because she said she wanted to put it on her jacket.
Here are both pieces I practiced on.
This was alot of fun. I think I am going to be doing alot more embroidery down the road.
