I bought some yarn last year to make a project but never got around to it. It was sitting on my craft table and I keep having to move it around so I finally got tired of that and sat down to make something out of it.
I have been making quite a bit of accessories lately and actually wearing them. That's a new one for me, since I don't usually use alot of things I make. Not that I don't like them, I guess I just forget they're there once they get put away. You know the saying, out of sight out of mind. I am making more effort to really use my handmade things. I started out thinking I was just going to make a thin scarf but as I was working on some other scarves, I decided that an infinity scarf was what I really wanted. This worked up quite nicely and a very fast project. I don't have a pattern for it. I figured out how wide I wanted and went from there until I got to the length that I feel I could do a couple of wraps and wasn't snug around my neck.
I am going to take a break for a few days and come back after all the Christmas celebrations are over. In the meantime I received an awesome giveaway package from Aurifil thread for January's Christmas Through the Year prize. Make sure to follow me so you know when the updates are because you won't want to miss January's CTTY giveaway. All I can say is that I wish I could just keep it ;-D
Have a very Merry Christmas! May Santa bring you all you desire.
