Blogger's Quilt Festival

I have been seeing beautiful quilts being entered into the Blogger's Quilt Festival. I just love seeing what everyone's been sharing. I am going to join in the fun. This is a Roly Poly quilt I did when my children were little.

I love the fun circus animal designs. I don't do much embroidery but I couldn't  resist the combination of 30's prints. I hung this quilt up in my children's room once it was done. It's one of those quilts I couldn't part with. It reminds me of when my children were little and all the fun times we had going to the petting zoo each year during Halloween time to get treats and feeding the animals.

Here's a close-up of the animals.

Here's my beautiful helper. She's always willing to model or hold things for me to photograph.

Pattern info: Designer - Ruby Short McKim
Book by: Jill Sutton Filo

I believe it's out of print.
